CASA TRES PECES—The House of Three Fish
Casa Tres Peces is a two bedroom, two and a half bathroom home in the eco-conscious community of Balcones de Majagual, located 12 km from San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Set along a ridge within the treetops, the home offers open views across the jungle canopy and out to the Pacific.
Wildlife is part of the experience. Howler monkeys move through the trees, tropical birds pass overhead, and during the winter months, humpback whales can be seen offshore.
The home is designed for natural airflow and comfort, with vaulted ceilings, polished concrete floors, and sliding walls that open fully to the outdoors. Both bedrooms are primary suites, each with a king bed, en suite bathroom, and views of either the ocean or jungle.
A large patio extends the living space outward, creating a seamless connection between indoors and the surrounding landscape. Just steps away, a shared infinity edge pool overlooks the jungle and ocean below.
The home includes fibre optic internet, Smart TV, and comfortable furnishings for longer stays. Surfing, nearby beaches, and the restaurants and nightlife of San Juan del Sur are all within easy reach, while the setting itself remains quiet and removed.
Secure parking and 24 hour gated security are provided. Cleaning services are included for stays longer than five days.
Access is via internal dirt roads within the community, and a four wheel drive vehicle is required. With the newly paved Costanera highway, travel to and from San Juan del Sur is typically under 15 minutes. Vehicles can be arranged in San Juan del Sur or at the airport at a discounted rate.
Casa Tres Peces is well suited for couples, families, or those looking for a stay that balances comfort with a direct connection to the landscape.
