With three levels of indoor-outdoor living, sweeping 180-degree Pacific Ocean views, a private pool, and a secret Sky Bar hidden within a stone wall, the home is as much a part of the experience as the destination itself.
Inspired by its natural surroundings, eucalyptus hardwood columns resembling tree trunks rise through the home, while soaring ceilings and floor-to-ceiling screened walls blur the boundaries between indoors and out. Ocean breezes flow through the open-concept kitchen, dining, and living areas, extending onto three outdoor decks overlooking the forest and Pacific.
Four bedrooms provide space to gather and unwind, including a king suite, queen suite, double suite with private entrance and deck, and a bunk bedroom ideal for children. The home features four bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, fibre-optic Wi-Fi, solar-heated water, battery-backup power, and laundry facilities.
Outside, the private swimming pool sits among the treetops, while the hidden Sky Bar offers a secluded spot for sunset drinks and conversation. Here, howler monkeys, tropical birds, and the sounds of the jungle replace the traffic, bright lights, and nightlife of town. Nature isn't simply something you look at; it's something you experience.
For surfers and beach lovers, Casa Cielo Azul is ideally located near Playa Maderas, one of Nicaragua's favourite surf beaches. Guests also enjoy access to Argonauts Beach Club at Playa Majagual, while jungle walking trails within the community offer opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife spotting.
Despite its secluded setting, San Juan del Sur is typically less than 15 minutes away via the paved Costanera highway, making restaurants, groceries, and local attractions easily accessible. A 4x4 vehicle is required for the community's unpaved hillside roads.
Located within a gated community with secure parking and 24-hour security, Casa Cielo Azul offers privacy and peace of mind. Cleaning is included for stays of six days or longer, and our local Nicaraguan guest representative is available throughout your stay, with convenient virtual check-in. The home's multiple levels and stairs may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations.
