Casa La Serena, known as the House of Serenity, is a uniquely designed home in Balcones de Majagual, San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Set within the treetops, the home offers a quiet, elevated experience where the sounds of birds, the call of howler monkeys, and the distant rhythm of the ocean shape each day.

The home is arranged across three levels, with separate structures connected by open pathways and a shared central living space that includes the kitchen and pool. From every vantage point, there are wide views of the Pacific and the surrounding jungle canopy.

The primary bedroom sits just off the main living area, with a king bed, wood flooring, flat screen TV, large closet, safe, and an en suite bathroom with double sinks. A second structure houses a combined bedroom and office, featuring a queen bed, handcrafted hardwood furniture, a desk overlooking the ocean, and a stone walk-in shower with hot water.

Throughout the home, natural materials and handcrafted details reflect the surrounding landscape. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living spaces are designed to open outward, with sliding walls leading to a covered dining area and views over the pool and ocean.

The private plunge pool sits just outside the main living space, offering a place to cool off while looking out across the treetops. A propane BBQ and outdoor dining area make it easy to prepare and enjoy meals in the open air.
