Casa de Mono

Welcome to Casa De Mono- The Monkey House. One of the first homes built in Balcones de Majagual and a guest favourite- for obvious reasons!  A secluded, relaxing, ocean view get-away in an eco-friendly community. The home overlooks the best beaches in Nicaragua; Playa Maderas, Playones & Playa Majagual.  Casa de Mono has a wonderful ocean view and positioned for maximum privacy, you won't see or hear any neighbors.
Watch amazing sunsets and listen to the waves. The home blends into the natural, tropical surroundings, has a really cool outdoor natural stone shower and its own pool. You’ll wake up to the sounds of howler monkeys and exotic birds and will see them throughout the day. After hanging out at the beach or surfing all day, have drinks or dinner on the covered outdoor dining patio. Casa de Mono is a unique custom home that was designed using green building techniques, local hardwoods and local stone.
This Casa sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms, both with queen-size beds (linens included). There is a fully equipped kitchen, a gas BBQ, a private pool, wireless Internet, a covered patio and an outdoor shower. Enjoy a hot shower utilizing the solar system that warms the water and a battery back-up system that will keep the drinks in the refrigerator cold and the lights on when the local power goes out. After a long day at the beach, watch a movie on the flat screen TV in our comfortable living room. You can plug in your iPod and listen to your favourite tunes as we have good quality docking stations.

"This is the second time we have rented this house. This time we stayed for 2 weeks. It is one of the best houses in the area. The beach it has access to is fantastic and very private. There is a restaurant in that beach that serves the best fish tacos we have ever had. Everyday the local monkeys would come for a visit. The one day there were 15 monkeys passing over the house. I would highly recommend this house for anyone!! We are planning our next stay now." Christina, December 2016
