Looking for something a little different? Something exotic? Or a little adventurous but still with that certain amount of luxury? Experience seclusion and privacy amidst an unforgettable landscape steps from the ocean. We have monkeys, sea turtles, surf breaks, hiking, kayaking, sunsets, quiet, tropical forests and, most importantly, beautiful untouched beaches. Our proximity to the lively town of San Juan del Sur allows for exploring the markets, restaurants, bars and entertainment, but also for the immersion into what is truly Nicaragua—the sights and sounds of the ocean and country side. What make Balcones de Majagual so unique is its setting? These aren’t your average Nicaraguan vacation homes. Perched high on a ridge, covering roughly 100 acres stretching from the jungle to the ocean, these Casas benefit from incredible views of the pacific ocean across the jungle canopy. There is enough space between them to enjoy complete privacy without feeling alone or isolated. On clear nights, swim in a pool lit only by moonlight. 24 hour on-site security, cleaning service and management is provided without being intrusive. We are also an eco-conscious community—we do not believe in spraying heavy pesticides like local hotels to control bugs, meaning, we are not poisoning the food chain from the bottom up. All of our actions have far reaching consequences and we want the wildlife—such as monkeys, sloths and parrots—to visit and thrive in our locale. Our water is heated by the sun, and our furniture and wood in the home is reclaimed fallen hardwoods, ethically sourced in northeast Nicaragua. Click below to take a peek.

" Tucked away in the jungle, it was a true getaway from real life. It was a wild ride getting up to the house, but that just added to the fun experience of it all. The home had a really cool modern vibe, the rainforest views were stunning and the beaches were quiet and gorgeous!

"This is one of the nicest places, if not the nicest place, I have stayed. Anywhere. The house is located atop a hill overlooking a valley of trees and the Pacific Ocean. It is a marvel of architecture, and Nicaragua (which I'd not been to before) was a terrific surprise."
